Silicolgel - Colloidal Silicic Acid for Gastrointestinal Disorders

Silicolgel contains silicic acid which is a compound of the mineral substance silicon and oxygen in a colloidal (highly dispersable) and hydrated form.

Silicon is the second most abundant element on Earth, after oxygen. It is found in nature as silicon dioxide and in the hydrated or aqueous form as silicic acid.

Gastrointestinal disorders are usually caused by irritants and by harmful and toxic substances as well as pathogens.

When the gastrointestinal tract is disturbed by such toxic substances and pathogens, it could result in disorders such as heartburn, reflux and vomiting as well as IBS symptoms nausea, stomach aches, discomfort, diarrhoea and flatulence. As a result, the digestive tract cannot function normally and this may lead to physical discomfort.

The advantage of silicolgel exists in the large and highly reactive surface of Silicic acid. When taken internally, it forms a protective and soothing coating over the lining of the stomach and intestines. Due to the absorptive or binding properties of colloidal silicic acid, it physically adsorbs or binds irritants and harmful and toxic substances as well as pathogens. This renders them harmless so that they can be removed naturally through the intestines and out of the body. Silicic acid can also bind gases and reduce excess acidity.


Ingredients:
3.5g Silicon dioxide in 100ml Silicic Acid gel, Preservatives: Sorbic Acid (E200), Sodium benzoate (E211).

Directions:
Take Silicolgel at least one hour before or after the intake of medicines.
To treat gastrointestinal disorders, take 1 tablespoon (15ml) of silicolgel three times daily, preferably before meals.

Other:
Silicolgel can be taken either undiluted or diluted in water. After acute symptoms ease, treatment with silicolgel can continue for another few days.

Silicolgel also alleviates similar symptoms in the gastrointestinal tract that may occur due to the change in diet during travel or on holiday.

Standard delivery for international orders will normally be approximately 7-14 days for customers within the EU and 7-21 days for customers outside of the EU. We cannot guarantee transit times through customs so on some occasions this may take a little longer.

Our standard delivery charges for international customers are from £29.99 within Europe and £49.99 for the Rest of the World. This will cover the postage of almost all orders. If we need to give you a quote for international postage for example due to weight we will contact you as soon as possible after ordering.

Some items such as medicines and products classified by the Civil Aviation Authority as Dangerous Goods such as aerosols cannot be shipped internationally.

We understand that there may be occasions when the items you have ordered may no longer be suitable or they may not have been received as expected. 

If this is the case then you can return any unwanted items within 28 days of receipt for a refund or replacement. This applies as long as items are unused and are returned with the original, undamaged packaging. 

* Please note, once items are opened and or used, products cannot be returned. Items received broken or damaged need to be notified to us within 24 hours of receipt to the email address below. We will then correspond with you directly to resolve the issue. Products of a medicinal (including medicines), cosmetic or personal nature cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.

In the event of a refund, these will be made by the same method used to pay for the order. Card issuers will only allow refunds to be made to the card used to pay for the original order. Please be aware that it can take as long as 7 days for a refund to be acknowledged by your bank or card issuer.
